International Leadership Development: International Baccalaureate World Schools as Developers of Human Capital?

The rapid growth of international schools makes the question of leadership and values one of increasing significance. From where do the value systems of these schools derive? And how are these value systems propagated through the school? Simon Gillett argues that in many international schools the financial system of fee-paying schools is an ideological vehicle, promoting the values of capitalism within the countries in which international schools are established.
