Originally published in 1977, this best-selling guide offered a means of keeping a basic, continuous record of a child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. Including lists of items of major and minor developmental significance, it enabled practitioners to promote optimal development by careful observation and an increased awareness of each child’s specific needs.
