A warm and funny picture book about sibling rivalry … and superheroes!
Life can be hard when your little brother is a superhero. The whole world thinks Super Stan is AMAZING. No one ever seems to notice his big brother, Jack … But sometimes, even a superhero needs a little help. And when a superhero is in trouble, only a SUPER big brother can save the day.
Matt Robertson’s feel-good tale tackles the often tricky subject of sibling rivalry with warmth, humour and fun – teaching brothers and sisters everywhere how to get along. (And that they are all equally SUPER!)
Shortlisted for the Waterstones Picture Book Prize.

A delightful story about sibling rivalry and sibling love.
[A] super debut picture book
This is a fun story, with a lovely, warm ending. Great for smoothing a rough ride amongst siblings, or just for a great bedtime story.
Many children will identify with this sibling rivalry theme, relayed with wit and warmth and illustrated with energy and bright, primary colours.
In this sweet, funny and above all, reassuring story, Matt Robertson captures the perspective of a crestfallen big brother, struggling to find his place within an altered family dynamic, with a marvellously astute and empathetic touch
This wonderfully illustrated picture book by the superbly talented Matt Robertson addresses the issue of sibling rivalry in a really heartwarming and fun way

Fun, distinctly unpreachy, but with a clear message too. Great for the early years library, as I imagine many children will relate!
