‘Some may call me a vigilante. I think I’ve just got problems to fix.’
Right now, Hunter’s big problem is a missing little brother, last seen fleeing the site of a gruesome killing. Hunter needs the help of an old army buddy, a whole lot of hardware and a trip to Little Rock, Arkansas, to fix this particular problem. A brutal encounter with some very nasty criminals leaves Hunter fighting for his life. And that’s before he comes up against America’s most feared serial killer, ‘The Harvestman’ and his grisly souvenirs of death.
But blood is thicker than water. And a lot of blood will be spilt . . .

Reviews
Hilton is more adept at humour than Lee Child . . . the series should be electrifying
Hilton writes well . . . a promising start
Hilton hijacks the reader on page one of this white knuckle terror ride - and doesn't let go.
The pace of DEAD MEN'S DUST is a scorcher, with the action beginning right from the start and never flagging. . . As a story character, Joe Hunter takes you in at the deep end and never lets up. Breathtaking.
A high-voltage, gripping read . . . Fast, ferocious and a thrill a page, this book will have you reading into the wee, small hours. The action is non-stop, the fight scenes authentic and thrilling. The finale in particular is as good as any action scene I've read in recent years.
If you're looking out for a new hero with muscle and deadly skills then Joe Hunter is your man. It's the most explosive debut I've read since Lee Child's modern day knight in tarnished armour, Jack Reacher, arrived in Killing Floor... It's breathless, page-ripping stuff - and Hunter will be back.
A dose of pure rocket fuel. Starts fast, gets faster, and doesn't quit right through to the slam bang finale. Dead Men's Dust is as enjoyable a thriller as you will read this year, and I do mean "Thriller!" My ears are still ringing with gunfire! I loved this book.
Taut, thrilling, tense - I loved it!
Hard-hitting and fast-paced, I was hooked from start to finish
'Suffused with testosterone . . . very exciting . . . I liked Joe Hunter.
Fun, furious. . . a good read. . . . cracking pace. . . crisp pacey thriller.
l enjoyed it. . . classic opening scene. . . last 1/3 really exciting. I was totally caught-up in it.
