Swords and Scoundrels
TWO SIBLINGS. OUTCASTS FOR LIFE – TOGETHER. IT CAN ONLY MEAN TROUBLE.
Vocho and Kacha are champion duellists: a brother and sister known for the finest swordplay in the city of Reyes. Or at least they used to be – until they were thrown out of the Duellist’s Guild.
Now all that’s left to them is to become reluctant highwaymen. But when they pick the wrong carriage to rob, their simple plans to win back fame and fortune go south fast.
After barely besting a powerful magician, Vocho and Kacha make off with an immense locked chest. But the contents will bring them more than they’ve bargained for, when they soon find themselves embroiled in a dangerous plot to return an angry king to power . . .
Swords and Scoundrels is the first book in the Duellists Trilogy – a tale of death, magic, and the perils of family loyalty.
*All three books in the series available in 3 months, from October to December 2015*

Think daring swordfights and witty banter, think nefarious plots and manipulative villains, think betrayal and love, there's also a lot of clockwork powering the whole thing . . .very entertaining
Will hold readers in suspense and eager for the next two books
'A fast paced and very adventurous book. And this is what I look for in Epic Fantasy, fast moving plot and a lot of fun to read. From the start I was taken into the world of Swords and Scoundrels the premise with a brother/sister duo who see eye to eye most of the times and can be very rivalry the other times works just perfectly. For me it was a great start, looking forward to the sequel!
As Knight launches her Duellists trilogy, she skillfully reveals the backstories of the siblings and Egimont, and how Reyes has come to the brink of revolution, illuminating a complex and intriguing world. The accelerating pacing as the present and past converge will hold readers in suspense and eager for the next two books, which will be released in November and December.
With roguish highwaymen and all the intrigue of a bloody revolution, this book will keep you guessing until the end. I can't wait to read the sequel!
A great fantasy with bad magicians, revolutions and people being controlled and betrayed at every turn. I really couldn't stop reading this and I can't wait for book 2
Beautifully crafted action scenes blend intimately with strong emotion and realistic characters. Told from several viewpoints and punctuated by flashbacks, the shifting narration serves to paint a well-rounded picture filled with fascinating surprises and unforeseen twists.
For readers who are looking for a fast and fun read, Swords and Scoundrels is perfect . . . quick pacing, witty dialogue, and plenty of adventurous action . . . Great entertainment . . . I'm definitely on board for another Duellist adventure.
