Asperger Syndrome After the Diagnosis

This series offers a fun and accessible introduction to Asperger Syndrome (AS) for everyone affected by a child’s diagnosis. Intended as a support tool in the initial period after diagnosis, each book in the series focuses on a different person: the child, his or her parents, grandparents, siblings, teachers, and friends.

Each book is varied and engaging, and addresses some of the questions or concerns that each person might have about AS, such as ‘What are the characteristics of AS?’, ‘Where can I find more information about the condition?,’ and ‘What happens now?’. Also included are poems, stories, illustrations, and activities to help everyone come to terms with and move forward from a diagnosis of AS, and work together to support the child.
