Help children stay AWESOME at home with You Are Awesome

These uncertain times can be tough for children, who may be struggling with worries and finding it difficult to find structure while at home.

Keeping children occupied while at home can also put pressure on parents and carers. We’re here to help and are delighted to be offering two solutions to keep kids and families happy, motivated and awesome over the next few months.

Learn a new skill with #MyAwesomeChallenge

We’re encouraging kids and families to use their time at home to learn a new skill or master a hobby by committing to spend at least 15 minutes a day practising as part of My Awesome Challenge!

Children can take part individually or get the whole family involved – whether it’s doing 100 keepy-ups, mastering times tables or learning to juggle, it’s a great way to add routine and fun to your day.

To keep everyone motivated, we have downloadable certificates and practice records to print out and put up at home.

We’d love to see what new skills you’re learning – share your photos with #MyAwesomeChallenge with @HachetteKids and @matthewsyed
