Anne Reid

ANNE REID is BAFTA Award-nominated English film and television actress from Newcastle Upon Tyne. Her first major role was as Valerie in Coronation Street in the 1960s. Since then, her many TV credits include, DINNER LADIES, DR, WHO, LIFE BEGINS and BLEAK HOUSE. She has recorded a number of dramas for Radio 4 and was the voice of Wendolene Ramsbottom in WALLACE AND GROMIT: A CLOSE SHAVE. Her film credits include SAVAGE GRACE, THE MOTHER and HOT FUZZ.
